Well, I'm not fancy but I definitely fancy this young gentleman :) A few days before his long anticipated album Thank me later finally drops (June 15th), Drake releases all the songs from his album to increase the hype and anticipation even more. So far we were introduced to songs like Miss me ft. Lil Wayne, Light Up ft. Jay-Z and Fireworks ft. Alicia Keys.

The Cool Kids

The first time I ever heard of these guys was when I first found I'm Mickey on youtube. Their sound to me was something new and totally fresh, something that hadnt been done yet. So ever since I listened to the stuff they do and I think their sound and the stuff they do is still dope.(Check out the video below)

The Cool Kids is an alternative Hip Hop duo from the U.S. Midwest that consists of Antoine "Mikey Rocks" Reed and Evan "Chuck Inglish" Ingersoll. They released their EP The Bake Sale in 2008 and dropped their latest Mixtape Tacklebox on May 31,2010.

Awake through the night cause I can’t help the tossing and turning

A while ago, I read an interview where Trey was talking about his favorite songs on the album and he said that his number one favorite song was Your side of the bed. I was happy to hear that since I fell for that song the minute I heard it. And now, it's finally here: the video is starring Keri Hilson. And I must say that I really love this video and the story it's telling. I kinda can relate to it.

At his best

He has been doing it real big for the past let's say sixteen months (if not even longer, but anyways)but it's really about to go down now. Not only has he been releasing songs over the internet constantly for the last couple of weeks (to increase the anticipation- can you stand the excitement? I know I cant) but he has been doing a lot of shows in the states and doing a lot of pre-promo appearances for his album Thank me later that is dropping June 15th. You know we love this guy, so no doubt, we would support him with another blog post spreading the word about his new single with Jeezy called Unforgettable sampling Aaliyah's at your best (R.I.P ,babygirl). I love how he not only uses this song as a sample, but also pays tribute to her and shows the love he has for her. And if you wanna go a bit further, you could see this as a kind of symbol for him doing what he is doing best AND where he's at his best....... WE LOVE TEYANA TAYLOR

Most of you guys have probably seen her for the first time when she appeared on MTV's Super Sweet 16 in 2007. Being a protége of Pharrell Williams, she signed to Star Trak Entertainment in 2007 and her debut single 'Google Me' was released by Star Trak in February 2008. She has her own youtube account where she releases videos every now and then. You can find her own twitter, too, where you can catch her on her live UStreams where she lets her fans know what she has been up to and where she shares her experiences when it comes to friendship and simply her everyday life.

She has now uploaded a video of herself singing Alicia Keys' 'Unthinkable'. I've been a fan of hers ever since I saw her for the first time on TV. She seemed to be a cool, down to earth and very talented young girl. An when I started to hear her sing, I was even more convinced of her talents and liked her even more. So it is only natural that I post this video and share it with you guys. Let me know what you think.

It's 12:28 a.m. over here and I just listened to Johnta's latest single 'close your eyes' on global14.com. Actually, I've listened to that song more than once and it has gotten me to the point where I can't sleep at all. And this really means something. I mean I pretty much love everything Johnta does, but with this one....Wow, I'm at a loss for words. If this is only the beginning of the whole LSR movement, I don't even know where it's gonna take us, but I know it's definitely gonna take us somewhere beyond great ;)

Ever since I've heard this song for the very first time, I couln't stop listening to it. (I dont know if it's due to the melody or simply that dope Kanye beat) it's just an awesome song. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. And finally we got a video to go along with it. I think it turned out great!!! And pretty boy's acting skills are shining through as well. You have to love that kid!!!! What do you think about the video????

On my daily surf through the world wide web,I found another Drake song by the name of One man show that I wanted to share with you guys. In the description it says that this song is not on Thank me later! But I think it kinda shows us what this album could possibly sound like since he said on UStream that there was gonna be a lot more rap on the album. I dont know about you but I cannot wait for the album to finally drop......June 15th. How do you like the song??

We got Hood Love

I dont remember when I heard the song for the very first time. All I know is that is has been a while ago, but I immediately fell in love with this song. Not only did Mary J Blige proove once again with this song that she was the queen of Hip Hop/Soul but Johnta's performance on this joint was just perfect. He was the ideal counterpart for Mary J on that song. I still can't think of any person to fit the male part on this song better than Johnta. I mean come on, it takes a strong and dominant voice to keep up with Mary and not just any smooth R&B voice that would sing alone beside her. But today I was surfing on the internet and look what I found on the BET countdown. This beautiful song is now an official single but it has not Johnta on it but the prince of VA himself aka Trey Songz. Unfortunately, I must say that I dont like that version at all. I mean it is still a great song (produced by Brian Michael Cox and written by Johnta Austin) but I dont think Trey has the voice to really support Mary on this song like Johnta did(Dont get it twisted, I love Trey but thats just not his song, but maybe it's just the video version that sucks!??!). WE LOVE BRANDON HINES

Last week Jermaine Dupri announced that once he would get to Detroit on Thursday he would drop Brandon Hines' new single 'In love'. I've been waiting impatiently for any link and information to drop but for some reason I couldn't find any of it. That is why I was doing some research today on youtube and there I found a link including the song!!! I love it, I absolutely do. If this should really be the final version, I cant wait for any video to drop (in case there should be one, I'm applying to be a part of it :P ;) ) I don't know if that song has been dropped legally. (In case it shouldnt have been legally dropped, I beg Jermaine to hurry up and drop the single ASAP!!) I dont own any rights to it. Enjoy and let me know what you think about it!

I've been in love with his music ever since I heard him for the very first time. His song are so beautiful and his voice is so unique, I just love each and every song. He definitely is one of my favorite artists. This morning, I found this video that I wanna share with you guys. It is MusiqSoulchild's latest music video by the name of 'Silky Soul'. He pays homage to the late Marvin Gaye with the "Silky Soul" remix. Originally written and recorded by Frankie Beverly and Maze. New Artist: Hamilton Park

Seems like this is really the year of R&B coming back in all its variations, from old school, slow jamz kinda R&B to that typical boy group kinda R&B love songs. The other day MISSPROMOBARBIE hit me up and sent me a link of a R&B group called Hamilton Park. So I checked the link and it showed their first song 'Computer love'. I really like the song. It kinda reminds me of Day26, though (which doesnt mean anything bad at all, I'm just saying) The boys are from the A, and 'Computer love' is the first song from the pre-album 'We Do it For The Sheets'.

New Artist: J.R.A

Months ago, I found this guy on youtube who was doing some great videos playing the guitar and singing along. I immediately fell for his voice, to me it was something totally new. Not that there has never been a guy playing a guitar singing along. But the new thing about him to me was the WAY he did it, it was something fresh, and something new. Not just sing the song like the original artist did, but he did his own little thing out of it. Today he posted his version of Drake's find your love...and I love it. Check it out!!! The second video is a cover of Drake's A night off/sooner than later (that I like a whole lot as well :)even though he posted that about almost a year ago)

Paris.....get ready!!!

I've been waiting for this impatiently for about two weeks. My sister and I, found out about this pretty late, so we hit the internet and found an agency that was still selling tickets. We found others that said the concert was sold out, and we found some who sold the tickets for about 99 pounds. Luckily, we got the tickets in the mail today.

I proudly announce that me and my sister are gonna see Drake performing live in Paris on July5, 2010. I am so excited; I cannot wait!!!! Better make this sooner than later ;)

I don't even find the words to describe how much I love Johnta's music. I just love it, can't help it. (And it doesn't hurt that he is a handsome man)Anyways. After ((co))- writing numerous hits in the last couple of years like Tyrese's 'sweet lady', Mariah's 'We belong together','Don't forget about us', 'It's like that', 'Shake it off', and Monica's 'Everytime the beat drop' (just to name a few), he has been working on his solo project to. Over the years, he released a couple of singles - 'Turn it up', 'the one that got away', and was featured on a lot of singles, too (Bow Wow 'outta my system', Mary J Blige 'Hood Love'), the album 'ocean drive', however, never was released. As you all know he is a part of the LTL crew and if you have been following them, you already know that Johnta is working on another album by the name of LSR (Love, Sex, Religion) is due this summer. The first single drops in 8 days and is called 'close your eyes'. Ladies (and Lifers) get ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
